Janette W. Wesley
A sunny close up of lillies in the garden, this oil on canvas of 20 by 24, recently painted in 1999 is a modern version of the lillies found throughout renaissance paintings which represented Mary, the mother of Jesus. Largely symbolic of purity, the lillies seem open to the beckoning of the sun.
Nicely framed in an antiqued wood, $700.00 not including shipping.
